EDM Blue Stones are designed to tackle the tough, hard scale left behind by the Electric Discharge Machining (EDM) process. Formulated with premium white aluminum oxide, this very hard stone offers slow, controlled breakdown and longevity. Its friable abrasive fractures during use, exposing fresh sharp edges that maintain cutting efficiency over time. Designed for use with reciprocating profilers, EDM Blue resists breakage under pressure, making it the ideal stone for polishing medium to hard tool steels up to Rockwell C 62.
