This standard rawhide mallet has a 2" diameter x 3-1/2" length head which weighs 12 ounces. This type of mallet is used when care must be taken not to mar surface being struck. The mallet head is constructed from tough rawhide: the cylindrical hide coils are hydraulically compressed to assure uniform size and durability. Solid hickory handles. 11-3/4" overall length.
