Peddinghaus Polished Forming Hammer

Fine steel hammer with two highly polished, 24mm diameter faces.  One is lightly bowed, almost flat, used for half-planishing.  The other is heavily bowed, almost domed used for half-forming.  These highly polished faces lessen the chance of stray dings and scratches when applied directly to your metal surface.  Also consider placing something to absorb some of the force such as a piece of cloth or leather, between the hammer and you work. Head weight 8-3/4oz.  Finely balanced with curved ash handles. 11-3/4" overall length.  Made in Germany and manufactured in accordance with strict ISO and DIN standards.
