Colorit Premium Bond (4ml) is the metal activator that is required for Color adhesion in all applications. It forms a chemical bond between the COLORiT colors and the metal to which it is being applied. After the metal is cleaned and dried, apply a thin layer of Premium Bond solution with a COLORiT MicroBrush and let it air dry (no light curing or heat needed) and then you are ready to apply the first layer of COLORiT color. Once your desired color is applied, simply use the curing light to harden the color and then you are done! In certain cases where there may be a COLORiT inlay of 1 CM or greater, if the workpieces are to be electroplated or the surface you are preparing is difficult to obtain proper adhesion, then it may be necessary to use COLORiT Bond (821-3663) in conjunction with Premium Bond to strengthen the adhesion of the color to the metal. Simply apply the Bond after the Premium Bond has been applied and dried. The COLORiT Bond will require the curing light source to cure the Bond liquid.
