The G-4 Hook is used for small-scale forming and for tightening anticlastic forms. All the while, your metal will not bind to the stake. Bill Fretz and Michael Good worked together to develop stakes and hammers for Michael Good’s specialty: anticlastic raising. These hook stakes can be used individually or progressively starting with the G-1 Stake and moving through G-6 to make more refined organic shapes (there is a set of all 6 stakes and the holder which is also available). Fretz stakes are made from hardened 420 stainless steel with high polish work areas to prevent unwanted marks on your workpiece. Designed for use with the Fretz GH-1 Holder (sold separately).
