These gray inside ring cylinders have a 180 grit silicon carbide abrasive in a silicone bond to quickly remove deep scratches or burs from castings. Features a very flexible silicone rubber bond that allows these 180 grit cylinders to cut aggressively and yet leave a smooth enough finish to go right to final polishing with the Pink (1000 grit) cylinder. You'll find this combination of silicon carbide with the silicone bond provides a most efficient cutting of nonferrous metals. Made to use with our 1/8" shank mandrel (145-0150 - sold separately) to quickly finish finger holes of rings to a bright high shine. Max 5,000rpm. Made in Italy.
Cylinders measure 1"L x 1/2"W and are sold in packages of 10. Also available in a Set of one each of all 3 cylinders plus one mandrel (see our 145-0150). Mandrels are also sold individually (145-0146).
