Emery, a fast-cutting abrasive made from black silicon carbide, is bonded onto a thin paper backing for use with Moore Emery Snap-On Discs. These discs have a cutting face on one side and are sold in boxes of 200. They are an economical and efficient choice for cleanup and finishing, suitable for use on most metals, enamel, and porcelain. However, they are not recommended for use with Gold or Amalgams. They feature a Moore Snap-On brass center and must be used with a Snap-On mandrel (sold separately). Available in two diameters and three grits.
