This standard rawhide mallet has a 2-3/4" diameter x 4-1/4" length head which weighs 1-1/2 lbs. This type of mallet is used when care must be taken not to mar surface being struck. The mallet head is constructed from tough rawhide: the cylindrical hide coils are hydraulically compressed to assure uniform size and durability. Solid hickory handles. 13-1/2" overall length.
