These 1/2 lb. blocks measure 3.5"x3.5"x 1-1/8" thick. Purple File-A-Wax is a terrific general purpose carving wax as it is hard with some flexibility. Excellent for hand carving, but only fair if you want to use with high-speed CNC machines. The flash point is 585°F. Low ash content (0.003%).
